5.6-magnitude quake hits West Papua, Indonesia — GFZ

BEIJING, Feb. 24 (Xinhua) — An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 jolted West Papua, Indonesia at 0746 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 2.38 degrees south latitude and 138.83 degrees east longitude.
