Bali authorities detain three foreign nationals over porn video case

Badung, Bali (ANTARA) – Authorities in Bali detained three foreign nationals accused of producing pornographic videos as they attempted to leave Indonesia for Thailand via I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Head of the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office Bugie Kurniawan said on Tuesday that the arrests highlight “the vigilance and careful efforts of Ngurah Rai Immigration officers in the field.”

The suspects, identified as MMJ, a 23‑year‑old French woman, and NBS, a 24‑year‑old Italian man, were apprehended on March 13 after intelligence officers tracked MMJ’s movements.

She had rescheduled her original March 14 flight to Paris via Singapore to an earlier departure bound for Thailand.

Social media posts suggested she had already traveled to Phuket.

Shortly before boarding, immigration officers inspected MMJ and NBS at the international departure terminal.

Officials said NBS appeared in the video portraying an online motorcycle taxi driver, while MMJ was featured in the footage that had circulated widely on social media.

In a related development, Badung Police arrested another French national, ERB, 26.

ERB is suspected of managing MMJ and uploading the video to an adult content platform.

Immigration authorities have handed the three cases to police for further investigation. Once legal proceedings conclude, officials said the foreign nationals will be deported.
