Presidential Palace welcomes public for Eid open house: Official

“We have prepared the Palace for a halal bihalal to welcome all members of the community who wish to visit,” he said in Medan, North Sumatra, on Friday, March 20.
Teddy explained that the event is planned to run from noon until evening with a capacity of approximately 5,000 people, and attendees will be admitted on a rotating basis.
The Palace has also prepared additional facilities, including outdoor tents to accommodate visitors if the indoor area reaches capacity.
He stated that the event will feature various food offerings, including traditional Eid dishes such as ketupat (rice cakes). In addition, entertainment will be provided for children visiting with their families.
“It will be open to the public from noon to evening. Like last year, the Palace is open to everyone. A variety of food and entertainment for children will be provided,” he confirmed. “People visiting with their families for Eid al-Fitr, or those who want to stop by the Palace, are welcome,” he continued.
Regarding President Prabowo Subianto’s attendance at the gathering, Teddy noted that it was not yet certain as he was still adjusting the president’s schedule.
On Saturday morning, President Prabowo is scheduled to perform Eid al-Fitr prayers in Aceh Tamiang, Turkiye, while also inspecting the post-flood disaster response in the area.
The Palace open house follows the same pattern as in previous years, offering the public the opportunity to visit and socialize within the Presidential Palace grounds.
